A MESSAGE FROM HATTER (HATR)
I no longer work with galleries. Not because I'm a tortured genius (though my ego likes to think so), but because I want full control over my work—and let’s be honest - I’m terrible at working with others.
Yes, you might spot me on Artsy. No, that doesn’t mean you can buy my real work from there. The only place to get my work is right here, on this incredibly average-looking website. If it doesn’t come from Hatter Art Shop, it’s not mine. Even if it feels like mine after three glasses of overpriced cabernet, don’t be fooled. All my real work comes with my “Approved” stamp and my actual fingerprint on the back—because nothing says “authentic” like biometrics.
Now, let’s address the question nobody asked but everyone thinks;
“Is this stuff digital or did you actually make it with your hands?”
The answer?
Yes.
I’m a digital designer turned artist. Some of this is digital. Some of it is mixed media. Some of it is created using only the finest spray paint money can buy at whatever hardware store was still open. But every piece starts in my overactive brain, passes through questionable editing decisions, and lands in some form—on canvas, wood, or occasionally someone’s wall (with or without permission).
And just so we’re clear: I am the only person involved in HATTER (aka HATR, depending on how cool I'm trying to sound). No interns. No elves. Just me, coffee, and a mild existential crisis.
If your wall ends up involved, I sincerely apologize in advance.
